Dopo aver finito il Dear Jane mi ero ripromessa di fare solo cose piccolissime e sto mantenendo la promessa , veramente non ho il coraggio di pensare ad un altro quilt, ho avuto un ritorno al ricamo e ho voglia di sperimentare tecniche nuove, di giocare un po' con fili e colori.
Ieri visitando il blog di Gunnel, che è una vera risorsa, ho visto un suo vecchio post in cui faceva riferimento ad un articolo su Quilting Arts di Julia Caprara sugli eyelets , mi sono ricordata di avere quel giornale, sono andata a guardarmelo e ho preso così spunto per il soggetto di alcune ATCs che vorrei fare per lo scambio di Dicembre e il cui tema è "fiori". Ho tirato fuori tutti i miei fili di mulinè ,la lana,i nastri ed ecco cosa ho prodotto.
When I finished my Dear Jane I promised to myself to make only little things for a while and that is what I'm doing lately, really I don't feel to start another quilt, I 'm embroidering again , I wish to try new thechniques and to play with threads and colours.
Yesterday, visiting Gunnel's blog that is really a source to me, I found a post about eyelets, I remembered to have the Quilting Arts magazine issue with the article by Julia Caprara that Gunnel mentioned so I found the inspiration for my next ATCs swap which theme is " flowers". This is the result.

Anche a me piacciono tantissimo questi lavori, ma in Italia sono poche le persone che si si dedicano.
